Should Grezza and Unzy get the job Purely on this ?

Mayor said: “The training since the two managers took over has been absolutely brilliant.

“It’s been a lot more enjoyable and I think we lost that over the last few weeks.

“We did not enjoy training as much. From my personal point of view, I think we concentrated a bit too much on shape and not just enjoying our football.

“I think players need to enjoy their football to play well on Saturday.

“On the first day of training, the managers told us that we are all good players and that we can get up out of this division and they instilled that into us.

“We went out on Saturday wanting to play for them and give them a great chance of getting the job.

“I think all the players want them to get the job and I think we did them proud.”

Mayor admits the departure of Brown did take him by surprise, especially as results had begun to pick up slightly. He said: “It did come as a surprise because we had started to turn a bit of a corner. We had won at Hartlepool and got a couple of draws.

“But from my point of view I am happy with who is in charge at the moment.”

Who better to have, than a manager you want to play for. If we start geting different people in, the players will all have different opinions on them, at least we have 2 great footballing men who love PNE and every lad wants to play for them.

It's a yes from me.

No from me. They need at least 2 wins from next 3 games to change Trevor's mind. Billy Davies is still his number one choice.

I do, but surely that says something about pro footballers these days insinuating that they didn't want to play for Brown

why lie if thats how they felt, mayor said

Soon as the lads stop enjoying training, then it was time for BROWN OUT

Why lie? It's pathetic, not enjoying training as much fair enough, but Mayor basically says in that article that they are trying harder now than they did under Brown, which is fucking ridiculous, any other profession the workers would be shipped out, not the manager

So now its up to the players who we employ as manager?

Fuck me.

no, but why change it if every players is happy and wants to play for GREZWORTH, the pair of them are more passionate about the club then any other manager would be.

anyways i dont no just a question 😛

And how many of the players are going to come out and say 'GREZWORTH' (which sounds fucking gay by the way so stop using it) are a couple of idiots that know less about football than Voldemort?

Not one that's how many.

Thank fuck for that. I thought it was just me that hated it.

It's a difficult one. I like the GADU partnership because they are PNE through and through. On the other hand Billy Davies has the ability and experience. My main concern is that the GADU appointment may indicate that TH is still in cost cutting mode whereas a BD appointment could only mean that there will be a war chest.

If TH was to sanction the appointment of GADU and then allow PR to publicly announce a sizeable transfer budget for them - then that would probably constitute my dream ticket.

It's not just about the appointment - it's also about what the appointment signifies.

You've hit the nail on the head, we'd all love to see the GADU partnership work but I think this is one of the most importance appointments in decades. Heart says GADU but head say Davies all the way.

It's way to early to judge on whether or not they get the job. They've only had one game. 4-6 games would be a good indicator, but by that time a top six position might be asking to much if they don't turn it around. We'll just have to wait & see what happens. Davies is still the favourite in my opinion.

PS
Grezzworth, GADU? Please drop all this stupid naming. Sounds like a puffs baby shower party.
