And how many of the players are going to come out and say 'GREZWORTH' (which sounds fucking gay by the way so stop using it) are a couple of idiots that know less about football than Voldemort?

Not one that's how many.

Gravid Unxander is much better.

To me, it reads as Mayor thinks it'll be life on Easy Street under Grezza / Unsworth whereas under someone like BD, he would have to pull his finger out.

I recall players saying similar when Simpson took over from Davies. They may even had said the same when Brown took over. I'm all for players being happy but how many of us go to work to enjoy ourselves?

If Davies doesn't want the job then yes until the end of the season, if Davies wants the job we need to bring him back.

Why are two completely untested ex-pros the solution?

Has it escaped everyone's attention that with that fat scouse reject as defensive coach we were shipping goals en masse?

What we've seen against MK Dons is the "dead cat bounce" - if you drop a dead cat from a very high window, it will bounce and give the impression of still being alive - I fear that's what we witnessed against MK Dons.

Alexander has never managed, he's never really coached either so are we reasonably expecting him and the "defensive coach" to perform miracles?

Some of you should have lived in Jesus' time - to make it topical.

The Messiah(s) - I think not.

not the defensive coach though

I do, but surely that says something about pro footballers these days insinuating that they didn't want to play for Brown

I agree. The word professional is used when it suits. Alan Pardew made a great point when he was asked about Obertan the grey alien being booooood off by the Toon when subbed. When asked, "will it affect him?"
Pardew said..
"He's a professional. He has to deal with it."
Playing in a team without guidance is difficult because it can seem they are not trying. Sport is not the same as doing admin, mainly because some other person is constantly trying to stop you doing your best!
However, I would suggest footballers learn the correct use of the term before throwing it around.

All this talk of Davies baffles me. Fuck him, he's an absolute cunt. He left us right in the shit for a rival team. And he'd do it again, so we appoint the little twat and in 6 months when he's had no money again, he fucks off and we end up with no manager and no unsworth or grezza.

Unsworth is not the defensive coach... this has been mentioned wrongly so many times

If the team plays with the same spirit over the next three games that it did last Saturday then I imagine Alexander and Unsworth will get the job - and I think that will be the order of seniority. I don't think the amount of money or otherwise that TH is prepared to put in will be a factor. Presumably PR knows the likely figures and I don't believe for one second that the meetings he says he has already had with external candidates have been any sort of charade.

give it Unsworth as manager and Grezza as Asst and doesnt matter who we apoint wether its these two or someone else its still going to be a gamble!

Absolute bollocks - get someone in with some degree of experience and credibility - what are Alexander's and Unsworth's credentials?

A couple of ex-pros with no experience is not a rational solution - it's all emotions and therefore illogical!
