Absolutely not, far to modest for that. Happy to just offer up the data and statistics I have. For most player statistics you are better off with Soccerway, Sofascore and Whoscored so I don't bother trying to replicate what they have. I don't do Xg so again you'd need to lookl elsewhere for that (most betting apps - that was what it was invented for).

So the search for a new Albertan goes on. 🙂
 
Another month gone, this time we pulled ourselves back to the targets I suggested. We are sitting around 7 points below the average line for 1st place and around 4 points below where we should be for second. We are, however, a point above where we needed to be to be on track for 6th.
Looking at the way the league is shaping up second place looks at the minute like it could be around 84 points, 4 below average, whilst 6th place looks likely to be around average (74 points). Looking at the table I do think Millwall's position is likely to change. They have played 10 of their 18 games at home, where they average 1.9 points per game. They are averaging 1.4 PPG away from home. The negative goal difference makes you think that the are vulnerable. Ipswich could move above us if they win at Blackburn on Tuesday. Birmingham v Watford tomorrow won't have any effect on our position. December is another 6 match month. You would hope Wrexham, and Norwich at home and Oxford away nets us 9 points. Coventry have an excellent away record (W6 D2 L1 Gf25 Ga11), so anything from them will be good. Wrexham are reasonably solid at home, where like Millwall they have plaved 10 of their 18 games (W4 D4 L2 Gf15 Ga13) so again anything there also good. Stoke have a similar home record to us and are only above us on goal difference, so again I'd take a draw. 9 points keeps us on target, but 12 would be an excellent return. Overall that's 2 fifths of the season gone and we are sitting well.

If we have genuine playoff aspirations, then my target would be to hit 40pts by the halfway point. 10pts from 5 games.

A big ask with Wrexham, Coventry, Stoke, and a probably resurgent Norwich to play. In addition to a Rowett team who don't often lose at home.

Toughest month of the season. I'd probably guess at us getting 5pts, which would keep us in the mix.
 
With Coventry following Wrexham - it’s almost a ‘must win’ in terms of staying in the top 6 and teams around us playing each other. I don’t envy Bristol City’s next 6 - Millwall twice, Leicester, Cov, Middlesbrough and West Brom 😅.

If we can get players back over the next 5/6 games, then hopefully we can get those performances back and keep getting points on the board.

I seem to recall he received an awful lot of ridicule from quite a number of people for posting what they perceived as "dry" stats. His detractors constantly called him unpleasant names for it. At least I think I remember it correctly. Whether that is the reason for his disappearance, I'm not sure.

He came over from Canada and attended a game or two I seem to remember. Memory not the best these days.
