On form I think Kent would be one of the best wingers in the Championship but clearly he’s got a horrific attitude. Not sure his ego would allow him to play for a side fighting relegation.

Possibly yeah, though I’m not sure chucking out the name of a guy who plays in the same position as this summers budget-breaking deal, is doing him any favours.

I’ve no doubt they’ve spoken about Kent because he’s on a free but he was on massive money in Turkey. Where does he fit into the system? Unless Heckingbottom is looking to change the approach.

We’ve already signed 2 wingers that hadn’t played much football before joining us, and neither of them can get a look in.

As much as we all love piling on Ridsdale, Hecky has worked with Kent before and given his love of playing favourites and distrust of Okkels this is probably led by him
 
What the hell did Kent do to deserve being linked with us??? He nearly joined Lazio before signing with Fenerbache didn't he?

I'd be happy just because it'd mean we'll be binning off Bowler, or at least he'll barely get a minute.

He's not a bad player, was quite good at Barnsley/Cov a few years back and made an impact at Rangers aswell. Then went abroad and out of favour currently at Fenerbache.

Played under PH at Barnsley so that's the connection. 28 tomorrow. LW so would fit in the eventual 4-2-3-1.

My issue with players out of favour at their current clubs is what sort of condition do they arrive in? We had it with Onomah and now Bowler, they're simply not at the fitness level to hit the ground running when they sign.

Probably underplaying his spell at Rangers. He was excellent up there.

Think some on here are already starting to underrate him because he’s linked with us. Kent probably walks into most sides in this division. Attitude/ego problem or not, he would be a good signing for top 2 chasing teams at this level let alone us.
 
Ryan Kent must be a massive bell end to have had his contract cancelled by a Turkish club. He’s free, and he’s available. Peter will be hot to trot so long as he’s also cheap.
 
Ryan Kent plays off the left, Bowler off the right.

If anything, signing him would allow us to play Bowler more as the team would be more balanced.
 
I’m not sure why Forest would even consider having Bowler back - even if there is a recall clause in the first place.
