If he's sold in the next week and not replaced it would leave a strikeforce of Jebbo, Dobbin, Keane and Smith up to January. So two loanees and two strikers in their 30s, one of whom isn't good enough anymore for the championship.
If Osmajic meant having enough to get in someone like Ellis Simms then I'd be fine with that as he's still young himself (two years younger than Osmajic actually). Good scoring record when he gets a run in a team, Lampard just dosen't fancy him so he will probably go somewhere on deadline day. If you suddenly have 10m then you'd like to think this club would be in the mix.
As it happens I imagine it will be something like Gudjohnsen which will hopefully be a permanent and then you sign permanently Devine and then whoever out of Dobbin or Jebbison impresses this season. That would be a good use of the fund but will it happen, not convinced.
