Splitting hairs here and I’ve not much left to split anymore but looking at around 2mill inc some add ons taking it to around 2.3 overall. No idea on Donny sell on, their fans seem to think there is one.

Tried having our pants down and lowballing us first time around, something we are well versed on 😂. Got turned down but according to Ben that’s denying him the opportunity to move. Take the new bid and run.

Not totally sure Wrexham will even end up doubling his wages either but not our problem.

Guaranteed doesn't necessarily mean up-front in terms of actual payments. Just means that's what is guaranteed as the total fee, not including any possible performance or promotional bonuses or anything like that.

As much as this has been a complete disgrace from whiteman, and the window so far a disappointment. It could be a positive moving forward.

It was highly likely there would be no outgoings this window bar the players released meaning everything came out the budget. I was hoping we could at least offload Lindsay but that’s looking unlikely.

Whiteman going for a supposed £2.5m maybe higher according to Nixon is good news. Just got to hope this money is spent.

Wonder on recruiting does the alledged new owner have any input? I mean the current regime are likely to go shopping in the bargain bucket as no point them spending any cash...what if the alledged new owner....wants better quality in???
 
Just asking, with players finally off our wage bill yesterday, will that make a big difference with us trying to recruit players this month, wonder also if we were waiting until they all came off our wage budget?

Most we could be adrift theoretically is 5 Points as (1) there are only 3 games before Sept 1st (2) Southampton start on -4 Points.

Although should Bristol City beat us on the 1/9 at Deepdale, we could also theoretically be 8 Points adrift.

I expect us to be around 16th after 3 games. W L D.

I think the scheduling from us was just a bit daft anyway.

Having a game on the Saturday and another 2 days later was never going to be a good idea a week before the season.

Donny Fan on the Wrexham Forum - I yesterday posted a link to the thread and where Whiteman 1st gets a mention - reckons the Sell On Clause is 30%.

Money (wages) is now available as per last season.

Rough realistic guesses here regards those that have left.

Brady 15k
Keane 12k
Lewis 8k
Pradic 1.5k
FRG 1.5K
Cornell 4k
Mawené 3k

Maybe around 45k pw saved plus Whiteman (20k pw?) = 65k pw. A decent (for us) freed up wage budget plus any extra monies put forward for wages.

This is all very good but the current owners do not want to put a penny more in than they have to do whilst the takeover is ongoing

Sedge posted on the 11th July saying that a winger was very close. We haven’t signed a winger.

Said we were also looking at a RB from the Premier League. Again, not happened.

Said we were speaking to Lankshear and Spurs like us for loan players. He went permanently to Boro.

We were also allegedly looking to raid Brighton. Not heard of any substantial links between us and Brighton.

Don’t think there has been any substantial links with Kelly N’Mai either.

This isn’t a slagging Sedge off post because the forum would be boring without rumours, but I think, unfortunately, his posts can’t be treated like gospel anymore (which they definitely were a few seasons ago).

I hope everything he’s posted comes true, but atm it’s not been the greatest hit rate.

Probably will get pelters for this but I honestly think the only real ITK about North End currently is Nixon.
