Believe GKs can be recalled outside of windows if there's not two fit GKs, as long as it's put into the deal.

Lot of frothing about this Li-Bau loan, but as with Pradic at Bamber Bridge in recent years (and recalling Ed Nolan from Lancaster to be on the bench at Sheff Utd) loans at that level can be recalled.

Believe GKs can be recalled outside of windows if there's not two fit GKs, as long as it's put into the deal.

They can with National League loans but (I think but I’m pretty sure) not for the first 28 days.

I do think this loan makes sense, he needs to be playing men’s football and it’ll be at least a decent standard. It might not be the best thing for the club in the short term but it’s probably the best thing for him.

Will probably be folk on here know better than me but would Jordan Holsgrove at Estoril in Portugal be a decent Whiteman replacement?

Scottish so no visa/ESC issues, seemingly available for around 2-3mil, Charlton have just had an opening offer rejected.

Stats look decent but never seen him play.

About 300k going their way then if the fee of £1.5m we bought Whiteman for is right.

Not sure why there would be an expiry date. Certainly wasn't when we paid to buy out Alan Browne's.

The player's contract has nothing to do with it, it's part of the cost of the transfer.

To be fair, the only way it could unhealthier is if they folded the club and made Deepdale into a B&M. At this stage its an outcome I wouldn't be wholly against.
