Summer 2026 - Transfer Rumours and Discussions.

[TB1]

With the Barca match cancelled due to us not having enough squad players, does that give us a better chance of loans from the Premier League?
They'd know that there players would get more game time 🤔

Wonder if we are still interested in signing Harry Clarke at Ipswich for The RB position or we’ve moved on?

[Sherfield White]

Great for his development, poor if we cannot recall him due to an emergency.

Where's Dai? 😬

Gone!

I think a left back would make more sense. Offiah and Pol for right back and have someone to compete with Vukcevic on the left. Hughes can cover centre half and full back.

If we moved to a back 3 at times then Small could cover the RWB position if Pol/Potts isn’t available.

Just thinking of names to replace BW, does anyone think we would look at Luca Connell? Hecky will know all about him.

Twat?

[Whist75]

On a positive note although I am not Hecky biggest fan he has done well with sales/ player trading. I expect with the BW fee perhaps a decent perm and money used towards a decent loan player.

Whiteman money in. Replaced by Lewis Baker on a free

Script that, looks like he's gone abroad

[bamhurger]

Does he work for Blog Preston now? might have been a better job offer.

Nope. ‘Columnist’ is a clue.

Pity he is in Turkey.

Ah right, just wondering where his next job will be as a sports journalist.

He must have something good lined up to leave his current job.

[grillder]

Marc Leonard should be high up on the replacement list. Archie Collins is out of contract at Posh. Cameron Humphreys and Jack Taylor could be on their way out at Ipswich but unlikely for cheap

[rem]

Yeah there's not a great deal to go at from L1 for that kind of player.

I would've taken Harvey White. Luca Connell is probably the next best one there. But Barnsley have a +1 option on his deal, so I reckon he'd probably end up costing around same amount, if not more, than likes of Gore, Collyer and Humphreys from the Prem teams.

There's Charlie Savage but I think he's too weak.

Gore is too small and not experienced enough

@shabbagaz - insert Riddler black bin bags meme here

Thought I lost it when my old laptop packed up but thankfully had it saved on my external hard drive!

[Pnebraddy87]

Pity he is in Turkey.

See my next post!

[Yoowell]

We’ve just had to make a phone call to a world class team cancelling a pre season game due to lack of players.
Just imagine then using the same phone to try and convince a young player that we are the club they should sign for.
It’s beyond embarrassment it’s borderline shame and we all feel it.

9 goals in 35 in the Spanish second division. Basically the same record as Lukovic but three years older 😬

Stinks of a panic buy

[SF]

There’s no reason to transition to a formation with McCann in mind for a specific role. He misses 40% of the season every year.

We built a system on Whiteman who might as well have been injured 60% of the time. Slower than a week in jail.

[SF]

As if this lying twat is still grafting 😅😅

[Brianbarrymurphy]

11 g/a for granada last season, not too shabby but hadn’t done much apart from that
