This is a must-win for me if we plan on staying in the race, probably need 10-12pts from February.

Cornell
Offiah - Lindsay - Gibson
Valentin - McCann - Whiteman - Small
Devine - Jebbison - Lang

I'm no fan of Lindsay, but no way Storey deserves to come back into the side after his performance against Hull & Boro.

That's assuming Lang is ready to go, if not, Dobbin starts.

Hopefully Iversen isn’t far off.

As soon as Hughes is available again I’d like to see the Offiah-Storey-Hughes back 3 return. They haven’t conceded a single goal in the 5 games they’ve played together.

Colby Bishop out for them so probably Jacob Brown up top. As a result I’d rather see Storey come back in than leave Lindsay up against a quick, high pressing forward

I’d start with Dobbin from the off and bring the three new lads on later. What a joy to have genuine pace, threat and technicality to sub on

Iversen
Offiah Storey Lindsay
Valentin Whiteman McCann Small
Devine
Dobbin Jebbison

Subs: Cornell, Lindsay, Lewis, Lang, Thompson, Moran, Lukivic, Lang, Vuk,

Iversen
Offiah Storey Lindsay
Valentin Whiteman McCann Small
Devine
Dobbin Jebbison

I am not certain Iversen will be fit and Lindsay simply does not have the pace to play at left centre-back so in Hughes' continuing absence Gibson will have to play there. Whether Storey or Lindsay then play in the centre is a tough call for PH. Otherwise that team is plausible - Moran probably won't start though you never know though Lang if fully fit might. The other question mark is over Small who has not really made much of an impact lately - there has to be a case for starting Vukcevic and holding Small back maybe for use on the right.

Get Lang/Lukovic/Moran on when Donbin has done his 60-70 minutes.

I don’t think an extra game ban is inevitable if you appeal. Only if it is deemed to be ‘frivolous’ is the suspension extended.
No doubt I will be corrected if Im wrong.
Frivolity is subjective anyway.
Ah thank you, just assumed it was common practice to give the player another game if the appeal has been rejected.

I meant Gibson not Lindsay! Think I was reading and typing at the same time!!!

Yeah Storey for Lindsay, dobbin for thompson - the rest of the team the same as Ipswich. Bring the new lads off the bench.
