Team v Wolves.

Team v Wolves.

No point picking a team i'd like to see as it will be one that isn't setup for a 0-0. So a guess at Headingbottom's XI:

Iversen
Clarke, Offiah, Gibson, Hughes, Vukcevic
McCann, Leroy, Devine
Lang
Erabi
Wouldn't be remotely surprised if Storey & Lindsay kept their place though.

Players I do not want to see anywhere near our first 11 and who started yesterday:
Lindsay
Hughes (if it's a back 4)
Pol (if it's a back 4)
Thompson
Lang (until he's proven himself off the bench)
Storey (until he's learned to pass the ball in front of teammates)

Iversen
Offiah Storey Gibson Vukcevic
McCann Leroy
Small Devine Lang
Erabi

Nicholls, Pol, Clarke, Lindsay, Thompson, Hughes, Moran, Osmajic, Burgzorg

If we manage to get Mills and/or McConnell in beforehand, I would take Pol and/or Thompson off the bench.

I think this would be my team as well.

They say football is a results business and if the end of the season is all about results, the inverse must be true and I think Hecky really needs a performance on Saturday. Yes Wolves are a good side, but after serving up utter dross against one of the (we assume) worst sides in the league away from home, he desperately needs the fans to see something impressive out of his side, even if we don't get 3 points.

That makes sense though I would swap Small and Moran around. Small does seem to be better on the right because his crosses from there are more considered while Moran on the left would tend to tuck in and allow Vukcevic to get up on the overlap. Obviously if we were to make this contentious signing with the next couple of days - you all know who I mean - then that would be a further option for the wide right midfield position and might mean Small swapping back to the left. Bur the team must be unrecognisable from the one that started yesterday in both players and performance.
