Im sure Spurs will bring more than 2,000. They average around 40,000 every week and will have about 4,000 for the game. They will almost probably play a team capable of holding its own in the premier league as they will want to win this competion outright, so it is a very attractive tie and one i am looking foward to seeing.

We have played spurs several times in the league cup most notably in the early 70s when we drew in london(thanks to a bruce goal)and narrowly lost at home aet and in 1996 when i was at white hart lane to see us lose a replay 3-0 after we drew 1-1 at deepdale

George Lyall scored at White Hart Lane. Alex Bruce only made his debut at the end of that season 1971/72

Spurs may bring more than we think as it is quite a while since they have been to deepdale. The museum attracts quite a few away fans from clubs who have not been for a while.
