Tickets West Brom Away

I was about for the 1980 League cup ties, but only went to the home replay. My only memory of the Hawthorns, is of a game just after promotion, 2000, where that twat, Lee Hughes, scored a hat trick. 🙁🙁
Yeah, my only time there was in 2000.

First time I’ve watched it back

Were did you find these John? When I looked for trains from Preston to Brum were ridiculously priced!
I was using The Trainline. I think the cheapest currently from Preston to The Hawthorns station is £87 for myself and two kids, which is pretty reasonable. That's with an early start though. When I checked a few days ago, it was £78 for a mid-morning start and straight back after.

with a family railcard, 1 adult 2 kids to Birmingham New Street £75.45 off peak tickets (you can choose any time train there and back) and just buy train or tram on the day which ever way you choose. Tram day tickets return £8.20 Train under a fiver return to the Hawthorns for you and 2 kids

Ticket bought and parking sorted 300m from the ground on someone’s driveway. Your Parking Space app come up trumps again.
Yeah, I have used that, parked up at Wickes, costing me as much as overnight in Brum booked through there though. I use that app quite a lot and never had any issues.

£13 for off road parking close to the ground, I’m happy with that. Might turn out to be a bugger getting away after the game but hopefully I’ll be tuning in to the local radio station discussing the fact that they shouldn’t be getting beat by #teamslikePreston

Yes Janie, remember the trip to Hawthorns in Oct/ Nov 80, Went in a van , 6-7 of us midweek.Think we lost 1-2, third game after also going there for a 0-0 two weeks earlier!

There's an Indian brewery next to Snow hill station where I'll be going before the match. Looks good.

I have a good feeling about this.

Sounds a good option mate....will try and give it a go....i'm more optimistic now than previous seasons recently.... no doubt we will play well but be let down by dodgy officials and the usual after match 'apology'.... looking forward to it but again i can't understand how it's not sold out.....the players and management deserve all the backing they can get so get those tickets bought COYWs!!!

Went to both away games in the back of vans but missed the home replay as working a 2-10 shift......grrrr we came so close but very late they hit the bar and Cyril Regis headed in if memory serves me right.
