He’s just a good championship player. If you have more attacking players on the pitch, then there are more options for him.

It’s not rocket science, it never has been, but let’s call it for what it’s been, the hatred towards him has just been laughable.

It's not hatred. People can have an opinion on a player that differs to yours, doesn't mean it's hatred.

He has more attacking players on the pitch, but I expected better from him when he didn't, particularly as captain of the team.

The first third of this season he was excellent. But he needs to show more of it.

It’s one thing not rating him, and another thing calling him a ‘useless cunt’, ‘worst captain ever’, ‘disgrace to the badge’ etc.

Been subject to pretty nasty vitriol for a good while now, despite being a solid championship player. But as we know, once an agenda takes hold, takes a lot to stop it.

Well I don't think I'm guilty of any of those references but I've certainly questioned his role of a solid championship player. Like I say he was excellent first third of the season and done reasonably well since.

But that doesn't mean he wasn't immune to criticism. If that's an agenda, then that might be why it's hard to stop it.
 
Entering the final year next season isn't he?
Hopefully someone comes in with a 2 mill bid and gets the 22k wage p/w off our hands,
Cant see it though.

If anything I would look to sell mccan this summer.
Not only does he struggle to start 30 games in a season (hasn’t in any season for us) but whiteman is a better player when he doesn’t play.

Whiteman was great against QPR and today.
Cash in now on mccan.

The McCann of last year and the performance of whiteman last year I'd say you were crazy.

But off this year's performance's it's hard to argue.

2million!? Fucking hell. Would be amazing to get 800k for him.
 
McCann was kicked on the ancle twice in the game when he had to go off. If any of us were kicked (hard) on the ancle, we too would struggle to perform at this level. Wouldn't make us injury prone. If he hadn't been kicked he therefore wouldn't be injured.
