After last night's performance he shouldn't be back in on Saturday.

It’s a shame for him personally but not really a big loss
Perfect time to announce Ledson
Please no
Radio Lancs said he was missing through illness before the game, strange type of illness ot end up wearing a boot.
Dont think its a great loss for us with the way hes been playing this season, maybe a bit of time away from the team will do him good
I don't like to see anyone out injured but it is fair to say that we don't miss him. we play with more energy, fluidity and overall mobility when he's not on the pitch. He slows things down too much and lacks 'energy'. He's not the sole reason but the Team looks fitter overall when he's not playing, mainly because 'he' is too static.
I would however prefer that he's not playing because he's not picked though, rather than wishing an injury on him!

Maybe explains the O'Brien links heating up? Not the same player of course with slightly different styles, but would explain why Hecky and co are after some more depth.
Hopefully Whiteman can come back with the bit between his teeth.

Great assessment. I also feel we are a better team without him.

Whiteman with more key passes per 90 minutes than both Thordarsson and McCann.
Important we acknowledge the stats rather than shouting our pro-conceived agendas.
I’m not suggesting he walks back into the team when fit, but useful to share this.
On another note, Mads needs to keep playing over Greenwood.

Is he likely to be fit before the end of the season ??Whiteman with more key passes per 90 minutes than both Thordarsson and McCann.

Set pieces would be helping that a bit tbf for Whiteman as he and Greenwood were on set pieces. Thor's will slowly be going up the more he continues to take in Whiteman's absence.Whiteman with more key passes per 90 minutes than both Thordarsson and McCann.

Plus McCann's always been a bit of a safe passer anyway. He's more of a ball winner than a ball playerSet pieces would be helping that a bit tbf for Whiteman as he and Greenwood were on set pieces. Thor's will slowly be going up the more he continues to take in Whiteman's absence.

The frustrating thing with that graph is that our players look to be in the bottom left quadrant with the exception of Mads

A lot of the CMs included are attacking midfielders. The frustrating thing with that graph is that our players look to be in the bottom left quadrant with the exception of Mads
Holmes would be slightly under and left of Mads. Greenwood would be far left but as high as Ralls is for Cardiff.
Not particularly a fan of the key pass metric. As is just a pass that leads to any shot. So will see a lot of set piece takers high up.

Great but have we missed him or do we look a better side without him?
