Defensively, no.Best is ahead of where Davies was at that age, shows that Best’s biggest weakness is something that comes with experience

They really are the most insufferable bunch of twats going as a fanbase. I hate them more than Blackpool tbh, think they’re so much bigger than they are. Only reason get so giddy at beating them is to put them right back in their fucking placeComments from The Plastics board
Felt like there was only one more in it. Has to be us in future, can’t be conceding late at home against fucking Preston Nob End if you have ambitions of top 6.
Preston been super average, really bang average side, we stick our chances away and we win at a canter even with our side riddled with injuries
There we go, Preston win their cup final.
One thing I’ll give Preston and their manager credit for. They never stop and despite being shit never stop believing.
We've lost tonight, but I'm glad I'll be watching a season of us playing football than the shite they have to watch.
Huge game for them and they'll enjoy the win, but it's just another one for us and we'll move onto the next (after the break).
Thank you to the Preston fans who joined in with the applause for Birdy on 74th minute.
And Preston possibly this year too. Preston were derided last night for the way they played but they won. Pretty football is nice to watch but doesn't necessarily win football matches

If none of you think Dolan gets in our team i suggest a different sport.
Answer the question - who does he replace?

Defensively, no.
Oh, you're back at full time...
As a "newbie" maybe you should concede that people who were there at the time might know what they were talking about,
or,
and I make no apologies for the slight change in tone here,
fuck off back to AVFTT.
It’s our 5th win there in 8 visits but only because it’s our ‘cup final’They really are the most insufferable bunch of twats going as a fanbase. Patronising gits. Weak excuse for coming up short.

Ben Davies at 18 got torn to shreds by Jamal Campbell Ryce in League 1. Best has been called up to the U19 England squad and is playing regularly in the Championship without any terrible gamesDefensively, no.
You’re either an idiot or a Lasher. Or both. You’ve made 7 posts and 4 have been slagging off a kid. Give it a rest, it’s embarrassing.
We need 2, ideally 3 - a LWB, LCB and cover for RCB.
Due to Cunningham's extension, a LCB is unlikely and I assume Whatmough (a lazy, opportunistic signing in my view) will be expected to cover for Storey but a specialist LWB is essential if we are to have any chance of the top six.
Are people just writing off Whatmough still on the Salford cup game?

Delusional.
Will he be reliable fitness wise is another question. Are people just writing off Whatmough still on the Salford cup game?
He looks like a player that hasn’t had a preseason and is playing catch-up
We’ve picked up 7 points in the 3 games that Whiteman and Browne have played as a partnership and played better football in those 3 games than we have all season. I’d say he’s doing just fine
It''s the balance for me. Whiteman isn't fussy but he keeps play ticking over and is positionally very good infront of the backline imo. Browne obviously adds drive when game requires direct play. He should've played far more advanced under previous managers when you look at how he finished for the goal.
Holmes can press and clearly can get shots in at goal so he can score 5-6 over a season although other games v weaker teams will required Mads style more.
In terms of options this squad is quite variable since probably AN's second season when there were a few different styles in the forward line so up to Lowe to mix things up when required.
No one. He can stay with the plastics he said he is happy there and we are happy he is there, so win, win (well except if you are a plastic last night, oh and last season 😉 🤣 ).Answer the question - who does he replace?

Really think we should be asking Rangers about Davies. He’s everything we’ve been missing in that LCB role
Need someone else for the RCB position too to compete with Storey
Really?
You think he wants to come back & even if he did do you think we could afford him?
He used to play for us. We sold him. Move on.

I’m not slagging him off at all. I’m just saying he’s not good enough to make the starting XI right now. You lot are bigging him up like he’s Adam Barton.Ben Davies at 18 got torn to shreds by Jamal Campbell Ryce in League 1. Serious question- if he was 28, would he even be in our squad? Makes me laugh that cos he can cross people think he’s the next Roberto Carlos.
I want the kid to do well, I really do. I’d love for him to be the next best thing BUT RIGHT NOW, he shouldn’t be a starter
Will he be reliable fitness wise is another question.
Think he's just been unlucky. He played every single game in 21/22 and last season he featured 37 times for Wigan in the championship.
I think he's one who'll make his mark as the season goes on. Storey has matured very well over the last year and finally looks a top half championship cb on a weekly basis rather than once a month so there's no rush.

Possibly. But your poor grammar suggests Lasher, or Plastic.
Dingles would still be trying wax crayon on the screen.

But he’s not 28 is he? He’s 18, a literal kid who’s still learning the game and is only starting because of injuries in that position. Stupid strawman argumentI’m not slagging him off at all. If you can’t get your head around that then you’re beyond help. But you’ve singled him out and are focusing most of your posts on criticising him. It’s pathetic
