Team v Will Still’s (?) Saints

Team v Will Still’s (?) Saints

I suggest you have a look on the Saints fans site about Saturdays game.
The fans down there are forecasting gloom and doom, hoping we win then the manager gets the boot.
And planning demos and smoke bombs….

It’s not a happy place at all….

It worries me because it’s so negative!

He started every game in the 23/24 season. You have to go back to the 11/12 season in League One since we last conceded more.

There's no other argument to be made. When he starts consistently, we concede lots of goals. That's it. Im not interested in heroic performances, or him never being bullied (Oli McBurnie would like a word). The hard facts are the more games he starts, the more we concede.

It's all well and good lots of fans not agreeing, but they're just incorrect, it doesn't add any weight to the argument
True but if we are going to use the same argument be. Davies started 40 games in the 18/19 season (in which we also conceded 67 goals.)

So he is shit as well is what we are saying.

If Will Still is still there will we win? Or will our chances improve if Will Still is sacked? Will he or won't he? Still waiting for an update.

Having now got through to Tuesday, the odds are increasing that Still will survive. Most often, if a manager is sacked, it’s with 24 or 48 hours of a defeat.

Not going to be easy. I believe Rover’s keeper kept them in the match when 1-0 down with two great saves from former player Adam Armstrong who is brilliant at this level usually. He was through on goal on his own only to be thwarted twice, otherwise they’d have won easily. I’d take a point now if offered.

I would but I hope we don’t settle for a point.

Attack from the off and get an early goal and it could be a very toxic place.

It's crazy when you look at their predicted starting line ups that they're as bad as they are, some quality players. Goes to show how important a proper game plan and tactics actually are.
Still, if you’re Armstrong you couldn’t ask for a better opponent to get out of your slump than Lindsay. He just loves small snappy forwards that like to run at him with the ball. Never gets sent off either…

I’m more worried about the Swansea centre forward next Tuesday.

He did play against Scott Wharton last week.

Some people don't like it, but they're third in the Xg league. They create good quality chances and don't give too much away. Can't underestimate them.

Their finishing this season has been embarrassing, even with Armstrong and Archer available to them.
