Based on...?
Still more than Woodburn ever did. Cannot remember any single game he looked good other than Blackburn 1-4 PNE.His championship career up to this point hasn't been impressive. His physical traits are very unimpressive, weak and not particularly quick. I get he's still young but he will be 23 in a couple of months, still looks like a youth player.
Showed some flashes at the end of last season, but had plenty of awful games too. Now finds himself down the pecking order in a squad that is still expecting additions.
Is he on beta-blockers or some calming medication? I know it sounds bonkers, but where's his aggression gone?Milly owes us a massive performance and Saturday he once again fluffed his lines, just what was he thinking?
I think we need to sell him now
Agreed, not seen much to convince me he’s good enough for this level yet. Just don’t think he’s got a single outstanding attribute. His championship career up to this point hasn't been impressive. I have a feeling that if he doesn’t get a new CB he may switch back to a 5-3-2.
Can’t ever see the Offiah / Gibson pairing working against most teams in the Championship.
I’d swap Osmajic with Erabi.Iverson
Clarke, Offiah, Gibson, Vuk
McCann, Leroy
Devine, Erabi. Small
Osmajic
I think his 7 goals at this level prove that. He’s got a lot to do to convince he’s any more useful than Ben Woodburn, let alone start in a deep role
I think his 7 goals at this level prove that.
Ben woodburn with just the 1. Moran is only 22 yet has over 80 games at this level. Woodburn at the same age (when he joined us) had 17. There is literally no link between the two.
I'd argue more Josh Harrop actually than Ben Woodburn. Shows flashes of quality (which we never saw from Woodburn) but very rarely impacts the game at all. Also, incredibly lightweight.I'm not arguing that he is lacking talent in the way Woodburn is. The goal and assist he has managed for us showed ability that woodburn never showed.
It’s more that I just don’t see him impacting games anywhere near frequently enough. He’s got 80 games sure, but it’s not as though Stoke or Blackburn fans had much desire to see him return. In fact many of those fans pointed out the same issues I have.
End of the day, he’s not getting many minutes now. We’re likely to make 2 additions in both the positions he will be competing for.
At present, he’s a guy we bring off the bench because we’ve got no one else to bring off the bench. Basically where we were at with BW. He’s a better player, sure, but more impactful? Not really in my view. Certainly not at present, but definitely has potential to improve a lot

Would have done if we didn't throw the first 60 minutes with that back 4.Trippier and Mosquera are supposedly out for Saturday.
Although I thought Rodrigues being out for Bolton would help us as well!
