At the risk of stating the obvious it looks like that may be too late.I would think there is crisis in the IOM this morning.
I can’t see anyone buying the club in our current situation.
Only a miracle will save us from being relegated.
We have already spent big for us during the summer, we will have to really break the bank to get in players in January, and who wants to join a club adrift at the foot of the table.
Relegation will see the Hemmings organisation with a club with a massive shortfall in income and a huge wagebill.
The owners and their 2 appointed staff Penrose and Ridsdale have completely messed up so what do the Hemmings do now to rectify the position?
The ‘board’ which fans refer to is a completely toothless group of individuals who have very little involvement with any major decisions at the club.
Personally I have never witnessed seeing the club become so inept in such a short time, this so called “takeover” it would appear has distracted the powers that be so much that they have neglected to deal with the basics, particularly you can’t at any level have a football club with no attacking players.
So I think there will be panic and chaos in the IOM now as they look at the prospect of owning a league one club which is going to require a massive amount of funding to keep it alive with the shadow of a failed sale hovering over them.
I have no idea how they get out of this without pumping money in this coming January.

No amount of pumping money in January will help. Its too late. Slow death has been happening for multiple years now.
As a fanbase we should have been way more critical in public about the ownership, sadly too many didn't see it, they just want to go to games and enjoy the day out. Many did, with our lucky loan signings covering the cracks. All our chickens have come home to roost in one go now.
We are a national laughing stock. Not a single player is good enough. Look at the squad. Ageing crap defence. Invisible, weak midfield. Non-existent strikeforce.
We will be in L1 next season. Our hope is that a takeover happens anyway. Failing that, just get these owners out by any means. Administration if need be. I just want to see those clowns in charge out.
I agree the loan signings have been papering over the cracks but the loans haven’t been lucky they have been one of the few things the club has got right. Until this season that is and it has cost us dear. Appalling management of recruitment. No amount of pumping money in January will help. Its too late. I am at peace with our nailed relegation.
Am I happy about this? Am I fuckers like. Heads have to roll.
But rather than thinking, wishing, stressing for another 6 1/2 months that we might just scab it and stay up only for Cardiff to dash our hopes on match #46, I have accepted it now for my well being rather than suffer mental anguish later on in the season as all hopes collapse around me.
The Hemmings Legacy. (Rated 18+).

Correct attitude. No good over stressing about things we have no control over (even though we wish we had)I am at peace with our nailed relegation.

Get the takeover done and get shot of everyone except for Grezza and Lucketti (they deserve a chance) and ticket office staff.
All the upstairs folk.
All the coaching staff.
All the players.
Every fucker.

We haven't had so much as a sniff of buyer in a very long time until Ian came along, there is absolutely nothing to suggest that it isn't progressing other than frustrations understandably boiling over as to the length of the purchase to completion.
There have been no distractions from the takeover, the budget has in fact increased it seems - how we spend it is another matter - the news yesterday about how football is now run financially is very significant, clubs outside of the premiership on low budgets as we are are finding it harder and harder, especially attracting young raw talent, not so many seasons ago chelsea had 7 goalkeepers, most of which i am sure will drift into the lower leagues but its all too late then

Are the rules for spending in league one tightened up again now?
Remember it being touted as a bit of a silver lining for Brums big spending that they had more leeway, one step back to make two forward kinda thing

With what we've got till January will be a big struggle
Iversen
Offiah/Clarke
Storey
Gibson
Hughes/Wiley
Leroy
McCann
Devine
Mills
Small/Vuk
Kenny
With a fully fit squad and playing wingers thats probably the best we can do. But its thin on the ground and reliant on Devine/Kenny/Mills having big moments
Think the lack of planning in our biggest spending window shows how a DOF actually saves a club money by having a proper plan for the players we'd buy.
The loan signings of the young lads from Liverpool and Forest probably would have made a big difference for actual quality. But Bergzorg, Gibbs* and Erabi are bodies at best - even as sub options they wouldn't have anything other champ teams would fear.
* in this lads defence him going off yesterday was the catalyst for our capitulation

Maybe, maybe not. But they way a few of the Peterphiles have woken up and been spamming the forum with RiddyLeaks is starting to look a little ominous...
Especially so given there's now rumours that the
At least 4 players in your main list have / will miss a significant number of games injured. With what we've got till January will be a big struggle

Which could possibly result in more attractive options becoming available to Zedan, as we nose dive to league 1.
I really can’t see that if we were to be relegated it would make any bearing on the saleWhich could possibly result in more attractive options becoming available to Zedan, as we nose dive to league 1.
Euxton valuation remains the same as do most of the players value etc, absolutely no difference in the ground and anything associated
The intake from fan spend would be roughly the same, TV intake would drop

How about the fact that Zedan was probably attracted to PNE because we were only a step away from the riches of the PL? Dropping to League 1 would put a whole different perspective on it - we wouldn't be nearly as attractive a prospect as a Championship club.I really can’t see that if we were to be relegated it would make any bearing on the sale

What riches; there are hardly any clubs making a profit; even in the PL.How about the fact that Zedan was probably attracted to PNE because we were only a step away from the riches of the PL? More about loading clubs with debt (Man U & Burnley are just 2 of many)
Maybe the FA and various leagues need to look at themselves for allowing this to develop as they stood by and did nothing apart from encouraging the greed game themselves. What riches; there are hardly any clubs making a profit; even in the PL.

I’m afraid you have become a little detached from the real world….
