I’m quite chilled about this
I still think it’s in Harrison’s , and Everton’s best long term interest if he remains here for the season
If he’s recalled then we have to deal with it , it will be a blow but not season defining for me
Thought he actually had one of his poorer performances yesterday

When he eventually plays for England he may fondly remember when he was 18 getting nutmegged twice at Oxford.I’m quite chilled about this

Although Armstrong is clearly a high quality player, I feel that if he gets recalled and McCann slots back in, it won't hurt us that badly. I'd be a lot more concerned if it was Devine/Dobbin/Jebbison potentially going back. Still obviously prefer him to stay of course.

Defensively it won't, but in-possession it's a huge drop off.Although Armstrong is clearly a high quality player, I feel that if he gets recalled and McCann slots back in, it won't hurt us that badly. To me Harrison played well yesterday and indeed every time I see him he just looks class; touch, decision making, passing and also tackling.
Don't disagree. He's an instant starter if he's here. Just feel we are slightly better equipped to deal with losing him over the others. The creativity in the final third this season is such a colossal contrast to last season it's unbelievable.Defensively it won't, but in-possession it's a huge drop off.

We just have to hope if Harrison goes back then Heckingbottom has a plan B in place - which he probably does. He knows exactly what we need and so far he’s been pretty much faultless in bringing the right players in.

Seriously hoping Armstrong doesn't get recalled. But if he does. We have Whiteman, Ali, Thompson and Steffi for the 2 slots. Reckon we'd still look to improve other positions 1st (LCB and Striker)... Anything else would be a bonusWe just have to hope if Harrison goes back then Heckingbottom has a plan B in place - which he probably does. This won't change anything in regards with Harrison.
Everton are happy with his progress with us and they know it will be more beneficial for his development.
Everton will no doubt be looking to strengthen in that position but they wont be recalling Harrison.
That is not good!

Haha. It would be annoying but a small part of me would find it hilarious with all the people confidently saying Everton aren’t going to because they’re happy with his development and they’ll definitely go out and sign someone instead

Touch a nerve there JK?How very sad.
Nah, just think it's incredibly sad that you would rather lose Harrison on that basis.Touch a nerve there JK?
Dewsbury-Halls injury is worse than they expected. This may well be a play by Moyes to get some funds out of the club to bring someone in, it may not.
Hopefully nothing changes and he stays for the season.
Would be a huge miss.

A lot depends on Everton being able to secure another midfielder, on loan or purchase that would be a starter. If they can then Armstrong stays. They have Rohl returning but with injuries to Dewsbury-Hall and losing players to Afcon, Moyes might still consider them to be short on Midfielders.
I hope not as I can't see the lad getting starts above at least 3 others ( Garner, Iroegbunam, Rohl)

Bobby Charlton did captain England, but obviously before he played for PNE.Apart from Beckham and Pickford, have we had any other players who have gone on to captain England?
