You also said, fewer than five months ago, that Hughes should no longer be a first team player.
Yep, you are deffo trolling me.

All 6 can leave with thanks for myself. Hughes is a difficult call but based upon his age, then sadly, the correct call is a sad goodbye as a 1st team player. I wouldn't be upset with a new 1 year deal as a back up as we need a younger 1st choice player.

As a 1st team rotational player to rotate with a younger player as players rarely play 46/46.

Yes, and in the last 6 months, for whatever reason, he has been poop.

Do you agree or disagree with the poop comment?

I said myself yesterday that, if Gibson wants to be captain, he needs to start playing better. Because you can’t wear the armband sitting on the bench.

But if you base captaincy on form, then in your world, ours would be changing every few months. Just isn’t sustainable, or the right way to go about choosing a captain.

Seems like you've been deliberately trolling me the last 36 hours.

Strange.
I’m surprised you’ve come to that view. Far too old to be a troll.

I think it's pretty clear that no one in this squad is captain material. Lots of weak personalities.
A Captain is a difficult job . I don't see any natural leaders in this squad - not that there was one last season either.
Q. Is it a compulsory position? (I have known the armband being given to the Goalie before now.)
If it's simply the case where the Captain is designated the only player that can talk to the Ref. - fair enough.

Again, do the PSC not feed this sort of stuff back? I’ve been banging the drum on it for about nine months.

A quick blast after we’ve won is fine. But pre-match, it should be music worthy of a sporting event.
I thought you were an early supporter of it’s use at Deepdale. A champion of it, even.

IMO it’s best deployed at FT after a win at Deepdale, as a short prelude to Status Quo. Winds the away stand up no end.

I agree playing it in full length is a misuse.

It went off on late train back from Liverpool last night...15 to 20 lashers setting about 5 north end lads..
Could be the same lads who were on my train on the way there. They were half cut sniffing gear at 11am on the way to a house music rave.

Yeah can’t be much worse as an away fan after losing a shit 2-1 away at Preston to have to trudge home with Wallace and Gromit blaring.

I like it for that reason, pre match it makes no sense

What would you count as music worthy of a sporting event out of interest? I've heard a real range of stuff over the years before matches, although when MK Dons were playing One Direction I did think that it didn't really fit the vibe.

Definitely fair - but it’s always easier with hindsight isn’t it!

And let’s face it, at the time, he probably would’ve been given pelters for a ‘typically negative substitution against a L1 team’.
I criticised as he made the lindsay substitution, he was right, I was wrong.
