Completely understand the drop off in the second half. The goal difference ship has sailed, we are soooo far off Norwich and Cov. Important to save batteries for Monday.

We are not sooo far off Coventry and Norwich especially as we have Norwich to play.
I thought RL managed the game well. We are never going to rectify our poor goal difference, the game was won and there is another match in 3 days time and so it was the perfect opportunity to give game time/experience to Mawene, Best, Seary and Stewart plus Whatmough
 
Not taking anything away from our first half performance but that Rotherham side might be the worst I’ve ever seen at this level. Just offered absolutely zero threat all game, had about a 10 minute spell after our first goal where they kept the ball and looked okay but other than that they did fuck all.

Probably the most bored I’ve ever been watching a 3-0 win. Shame Norwich won but their next two games are really tough, 4 points from the next 2 would be great.

We had an opportunity to massively improve ours, at very little risk, Rotherham were that bad, and energy conservation against a team who had decided damage limitation was their sole priority would not have been an issue.
A big opportunity lost to get us into a positive GD, opportunity missed imo.🤔

Spot on, they were there for the taking….

If we had gone at them in the second half , we could have won by 5 or 6

Just goes to show how bad the second half was, that chant was actually in the first half Ando. Second half didn’t even have that

Possibly. But hull aren’t above us. It’s Coventry and Norwich who are above us and we need to catch. Their goal difference is huge in comparison.

Second half was like a training exercise, bring players off and give youth a chance. Lowe got it absolutely right. Don’t understand the obsession with going for a six or seven nil. We won 3-0. Move onto the next game.

On another note I kind of respect Lowe a bit more for not doing the fisty-pumps much anymore. I wasn’t bothered he did them in the first place but I think it shows that today was just three points and now let’s move onto the next game.

And we have a game in hand. That game though is Southampton away which puts it in perspective.

We have to win the next 3 games to have a chance imo, after that 4 of the last 5 games are against Norwich, Southampton, Leicester and West Brom.

If we do get to the play offs, then after getting through that lot we'll have nothing to fear.

You have to admire them for making the trip! Roughly ow many of them were there? Going by the highlights, it wasn't many.

The best ever we're the Stockport fans some years ago when we hammered them 6 or 7 nil. They never stopped singing. At 5 nil it was "6 - 5, we're gonna win 6 - 5. Score in a minute, we're gonna score in a minute. " They were quality.
