Matchday Thread PNE v The Plastics - 17/02/24 - KO:3PM - Championship

Happy with an honourable draw👍

Unfortunately I think if we had played all night we would not have scored in the second half 😟

Keeps the good unbeaten run going !
Politely disagree - plastics were hanging on last 10 minutes, Brown nearly scored and if the correct time had been added on at the end ( should have been at least 8 mins rather than the five ) think we’d have scored

See, they come out with stuff like this expecting to score points over us - then I remember one of those muppets was informed over the speaker system that he'd forgotten to switch the engine of his car off and realise there's an extremely high chance they don't have any clue what they're talking about.

Thick bastards.
Close relatives of the Turf Moor Dingles, inbreeding definitely 🤔🤔

just settled down for the Evening after getting back and then taking the Dog for a walk on Morecambe Prom and through the light festival, which was very illuminating, unlike the first half hour at Deepdale.
Blackburn came out with a purpose and looked far more up for it, basically catching us cold. Their 2 goal lead was deserved.
However we did begin to get back into the game and we definitely needed a goal before half time to not go into the break 2 down.
Robbie Brady's goal which was a peach came just at the right time and changed the dynamic of the game. Our second goal was a bit scrappy, but they all count and i was thankful to go into the break at 2 all.
I thought we had much the better of the second half and in the end could well have won.
A draw was probably a fair result, and what i expected pre kick off, although i will be interested to see whether Sam Gallaghers goal was offside, nor have i read the forum yet to get posters opinion(s).

That’s me! On the return journey, were you sat in the front seat on the right? I’m actually very shy so I would be conscious of speaking in case I’d got the wrong person!

They weren’t Rovers fans, they were waiting for a 125 and one hadn’t come for ages so they thought the bus was a normal service bus and objected to the fare!
That was me , sat on my own in the front seat on the right.

Can't understand why nobody sat next to me !!

Nobody ever does.....

The Plastics are not happy with our pitch, apparently a pitch like that shouldn’t be allowed in elite football…..

One clown says that he played on better pitches in the Sunday league, deluded arseholes…

It isn't great but we played them on a swimming pool at Ewood a few years ago.

Same for both teams, if anything the fact we played on it twice in a week gave them an advantage.

Besides, they had zero interest in playing it on the deck anyway.

Could have, should have, would have 🤷‍♂️
