What would it solve though Dan?

Transfer window is now closed. Only options re players is other clubs castoffs.

I think we have to limp along again and stay in the Division and then reconsider what happens in summer.

Whoever does come in needs proper backing.

I'm as pissed off about it all as you mate believe me.

First day of the season - 10,300. Today - 8,300. That's more than 12% down. I wonder how many season ticket holders will renew come the summer if Westley is still here? You only have to read comments on here to see that 8,300 was nothing like the actual number of people in attendance today (given the official figure includes season ticket holder whether they attend or not). Many are already voting with their feet and this number will only continue to grow the longer Westley remains at the club. To try and pretend the crowds are not dropping at an alarming rate is ridiculous.

WHAT A FUCKING CLOWN YOU ARE 8400 LAST WEEK 8300 THIS WEEK....CROWDS DOWN 1.2 % ...I was talking about the average year on year

So you are calling the club liars with regard to the attendance .....that should be interesting.

Who is pretending that crowds are not dropping ? Alarmingly??...you said that not me

Sheeesh

Respect South Ribble from a Ribbletonian. Currently in the Railway Leyland knockin a few back after watchin shite again. I will not stp watchin my club but will force the wankers out.

To be fair, Danny has a point - the apathy and the sheep mentality of our supporters means that very little has been done since our dowanward spiral started a few years ago.

If people want action then they need to up their game - I mean PSG apparently burnt their bridges with the club after Simpson was potted and I'm not sure what power/support the recently formed South Ribble Supporters Group have, but maybe if action is to be taken it needs to be more than a feeble protest.

Granted they have a far larger fanbase than us, but the Manchester fans certainly up their game when something close to their affections is at stake,

Gives me a sort of warm glow to know that you think Danny has a point.

Something has to be done NOW otherwise when summer comes and we have managed to avoid relegation (possibly only because there are worse teams than us rather than us being even a reasonably managed side) then Westley will once again take the credit for saving us. I know in my heart of hearts that there isn't a cat in hells chance of getting rid of him before the end of the season but that shouldn't stop us letting him, TH and PR know exactly what the majority of fans think.

The thing is, with Westley in charge we aren't going to stay in the division. Dunno where the next win is coming from, seriously.

I was around in the 70's and 80's its just a matter of time. We will rid ourselves of the Risdale/ Westley era soon.

The cost of stewards to protect that southern cunt including old bill must be on the chorley brickies radar. The numbers wull force the senile twat to sack him if we make it legally hostile. I was around in the 70's and 80's its just a matter of time. We will rid ourselves of the Risdale/ Westley era soon. This club is fucked with them and the bricky will know soon. This Railway pub is good.

I noticed that as soon as the pen was given today 40-50 stewards suddenly appeared alongside the IP and Town End. And last week as soon as Coventry scored their first goal 4 coppers (including Elliott) made their way along the IP to the areas where a lot of abuse directed at Westley during the Walsall game came from.

On the whole, Preston NE fans are a respectable bunch but if Westley stays and we get another shocking home performance then it might be more than just verbal abuse that's aimed in Westley's direction.

Keep it peacefull Risdale was twitchin like some cunt was crushin his bollocks. Its just time and the knives are sharpnin. Xx

Does Ridsdale have the power to sack Westley? If Hemmings is happy with things from a financial point of view then he's not going to want to bring in a new manager who will put on the pressure to spend more money.

OK, you think Westley should be sacked and you are no fan of Hemmings, but any need for personal abuse? In particular, calling someone senile simply because they are of a certain age is not funny. Grow up.

Ok agree the senile bt is out of order and apologise. I have served my apprenticeship watchin North End and dont need a lecture.

My own personal opinion is that as well as targeting Westley, we (North End fans in general) also need to be targeting the likes of Ridsdale and Hemmings, especially since there's a clear lack of leadership and the club being very poorly run.

Spot on. It's no good getting Westley out if the club continues to suffer from a woeful lack of leadership. Whoever takes over will be in the same boat-ie unable to compete with the likes of Brentford when our owner is one of the richest men in Britain and left to face the media on his own and field all manner of questions, many of which should in truth be addressed to and answered by a 'chairman'.

Apology accepted on behalf of TJH, but who's the 'no mark'? Me or Westley? How long was your apprenticeship as a matter of interest?
