RIP Shaky

RIP Shaky

Shaky will be having a good laugh with Grandad t right now. 2 of the most colorful characters that this forum has ever, and possibly ever will know.

I don't know if it's possible but I'd also suggest that the betting section (Lizard Lounge) should be renamed The Shaky Lounge (or something to this extent) so that he stays in the memories of PNE-Online members new and old.

That is an excellent suggestion.

I was shocked when I heard this, with him I had my ups and downs. I never personally knew this man, but talking to him so much on here made him part of my life.

Especially how he loved to make sure everyones grammar was in order 🙂

R.I.P Shaky

You will be sadly missed and deepest sympathies to all his friends and family.

Yes, and I have possibly been his greatest opponent over the last three to four years, Lonergan obviously being the centre of the argument.

I always felt, however, that if we had shared a couple of pints, there may have been common ground. He loved the Lake District, as I do.

R.I.P.

His nickname for you, though pretty puerile always made me smile - sort of sums Shaky's humour up. Maybe you could ask the mods to change your username to Ballsaac?

A fitting place to tribute Shaky. RIP mate, travelled countrywide and had some joyous and not so joyous times with PNE. You became a great friend over 14yrs having met through pnefc.co.uk, which became pnefans.com and subsequently PNE-online.

I've shed a tear fella, forever in our minds, and we'll drink to the memories of you.

Rest in Peace Shaky lad.

Gutted.

Horse.

I too knew Shaky through pnefans.com and travelled to many games, both home and away with him. As others have mentioned he was known as being a "bit hard work" on here at times and his complete dislike of "leadboots" was legendary.

In real life, you could not wish to meet a more genuine, down to earth family man who loved the Nobbers (even though he only discovered us relatively late in life)

I am absolutely gutted by this news and life on this forum will never be the same again.

R.I.P Shaky.

You'll be sorely missed.

Yamo.

Frustrating poster at times, only met him once or twice but a very genuine person

Thoughts to his family and friends

RIP Dave.

Didn't know him & can't say I agreed with him on most PNE subjects but always enjoyed his posts & he'll be sadly missed.

Best wishes to his family at this difficult time.
