Right anyway, back to the rumours.

Who do we think this could be? Ogbene?
Not heard anything about Ogbene
Esse is a very strong possibility
Kenny got mentioned to me last night
Mills we are waiting for a price drop. Still think it gets done
Speaking with Kevin Carlos again as developments have now changed which could make this a possibility. He didn’t reject us in the first place think he wanted to stay at his current club and fight for his place but don’t see that happening.
Defender, striker & winger (Esse) hopefully incoming this week.
Expect 5 to 6 players in before Bolton.
Not heard anything about McCann but personally don’t see him going especially if Whiteman goes which looks like it will happen.
Definitely going to be a very busy couple of weeks. Players back from tours and World Cup breaks now. All free agents are now not getting paid so expect movement there.

Wrexham have us over the barrel now unless another club makes an offer. We are in a weak position paying high wages to a player who won’t be playing for us. No reason for Wrexham to increase their rumoured offer of £1.1m + add ons compared to our rumoured asking price of 2.0m + add ons. If I was Parkinson I would lower the offer provided he has not been put off by Whiteman’s behaviour

5/6 in before bolton is good, would like to there wohld be another 2 or 3 after that before the window shuts.

"5 or 6 in before Bolton"

And who is paying for these players, not the current owners thats for sure. And any prospective new owner can't!

The shackles are off. Bring him back!

The current owner paid for Devine.

The club know we need players through the door otherwise it will be a long hard season.

It is going to be a busy few weeks it seems. I think with our fixtures ‘on paper’ it means we can pick up a few decent results early on.

The club don’t need to wait out Wrexham, they just need to wait out Benjamin.

Have to be knocking on Everton's door and making a case about building a team around Armstrong? Surely?

Still haven't seen a concrete link about him joining anyone.

We will have plenty more wages to contribute when this immobile prick pisses off to Wrexham.

Obviously would love Armstrong but you can't build a team around a loan player. Especially one that already got recalled and fucked our entire second half of the season as a result. We need to be supplementing the team with loans not having them as the key components. Trouble is, we've now been doing exactly that for the last few years and it's impossible to sustain.

We're not really in a position at the moment to be operating that way.

We've been starting to buy younger players that are our own to build on, but we don't have the finances to do that in a short period of time. That's why we often do need to rely on loans to get better quality players to compete.

This season is a write off, we just need the quality in the door to avoid a relegation scrap.

We’re 2 weeks off the start of the season and needed 2 wide players so we can start implementing the 4-2-3-1 formation Hecky wants. Now looks as if we may be trying the formation for the very first time ON the first game of the season, rather than work on it in pre-season.

Incompetent recruitment.
Incompetent management too to be fair. We should have at least been trying it out in preseason so that the players who will feature under the new system can get used to their roles and what's expected of them. Although it wouldn't have been perfect we did still have the players to play a 4-2-3-1, and that way we could have at least tolerated the dross that was served up.

I agree we need to continue in loans. I was just meaning we can't look to 'build a team' around them. If we sign permanent players to supplement loanees then we're forever chasing our tail. We just need quality to ensure we can scrape by year on year at present.
