The pitch

The pitch

Just got to deepdale now and the pitch looks fuckin horrendous! Worst i've seen it in years. It's like a pissin cowfield.

That is exactly what Westley wants - that is the reason that they have been training on it over the last couple of weeks !

What goes on in his head ??

Deepdale has had a wonderful playing surface consistently for many years, and now this screwball has ruined it....

Oh yes, it was the evil Mr westleys fault. Not the snow or tractors on it all morning?

Everything is Westley's fault... This is Pne-online, where the magniloquent amongst us gather to drive out another manager believing that will solve everything!

Was it the fans fault then we set a new record today of 10 league games without a win at home for the first time in our history ? or the fact were 1 league win in 11 ? you cant expect fans to put up with that kind of failure week in week out and politely clap everything .

I was staggered when i saw it. Talk of tractors and the weather is nonsense. It looked like the had been running all over it with hob nail boots. It has been deliberately ruined from what was one of the best piches in the football league. That said, i thought it was good game this afternoon.

Have the fans helped create a cauldron like atmosphere similar to Birmingham at home 2001 play offs, or have they jeered mistakes by new players - booed players, thrown coins etc etc? I would imagine that there are combinations of things wrong with the club - to suggest Westley is the only problem is a little myopic and you need to get your head out of the sand/curry dirk!

I agree with this. Bloody stupid training every day on the pitch in this weather.

And that's why it's knackered.

Or could be due to that and the fact we had horrendous snow and therefore needed tractors on it early this morning? I despair, people are clutching at straws here. I remember a game where 'King Billy' drew back the covers so the game would be called off as he didn't fancy it - yet people want him back. One rule for one though and all that!

I don't think Westley is the only problem but he signed and trained them and his team tinkering is legendary 5 changes again today . We average 3/4 changes every game so no hope of a settled side , as for fans not making Deepdale a cauldron its a 2 way street and they should lift each other . and Curry will be ready in about an hour , madras and pilau its my match day treat .
