Don't disagree with what you say Dazzler - would never question his right to vote how he did even though I may consider it ignorant myself. No, I simply think the question has to be asked about whether his publicised views would cause problems in the dressing room. We all know what 'bad apples' can do to a team's performance on the pitch. If the price we'd pay for signing Brown is not signing any black or foreign players then I think he's a signing not worth making. A shame in some ways but pretty sensible overall.
 
For those saying that WBs political views don't matter, how would you react if we signed a Muslim player, of which there are plenty within these leagues, who had spouted in his previous dressing room that the bombers of 9/11, 7/7 and the Taliban were heroes who he fully supported?

I imagine there'd be outrage on this very board.

Who gives a shit if he voted for the BNP? He is right to say that ethnic minorities are having a bad affect on our country, in some areas more so than others. Thats a fact. Yeah the BNP are a bit extreme and I wouldn't vote for them but people are making out were going to have the leader of the ku klux klan at centre half next season. Get a grip. Big solid centre half, good signing if it comes off.

As posted on here many times, Wayne Brown's political views are his political views he does not need the endorsement of fellow professionals nor us on an internet forum. A few of my mates voted BNP, some even voted for UKIP😱 but that is their choice. I can fully understand why some people would vote BNP as on some things they are 'correct' unfortunately it is the left wing and central tabloids and papers that only highlight the scum that proliferate their ranks namely people like Nick Griffin and co that do join the party for racist reasons rather than political ones.

If the BNP managed to get rid of these people and they had a clear focus I could see them being a party to support. As I say at the end of the day he is paid to be a footballer and nothing more.
