So Who Now ?

So Who Now ?

I would prefare to see an ambitious up and coming young manager appointed to be honest, though i hav`nt got a clue who.

But not that megalomaniac dwarf please, lets move forward and stop looking back.

We all seem to have short memories when it comes to "I always speak in the 3rd person" Billy Davies. It's no accident that he doesn't get on with boardroom types- can anyone seriously expect him to get on with PR?

I've said Hoyland to take over after Brown since the beggining of the season.

However if it was him he would be caretaker now. With what you have said, Unsworth/Alexander.

I think Hoyland will take Unsy's current job for the time being, a promotion is on the cards for him no doubt.

Care to expand on this? As far as I can see Unsworth has been the only constant throughout the recent years of decline and his record in charge last time was played 2 lost 2.

DU has overseen the development of the young professionals such as Proctor, McLoughlin, Douglas, Bailey Wtight. He has managed a reserve team successfully, including many youngsters in addition to seasoned Pros such as Carlisle, Morgan, Russell and Carter. None of these have given him less than 100% backing, winning games consistently, defending well and playing attractive football. Barton and Mayor have played notably well in games I have seen over the past couple of years, so maybe Unsy IS the best man for the job...

Couldn't agree more with this. David Unsworth is yet another scapecoat for those wishing to wrap the club's previous ills in a pretty box with a bow on top.
