None of us are trying to hurt the club or ticket sales, but surely if we all stay away from the next home match & name the day Westley Out Day, people would have to listen. The problem would be getting support.

A boycott of a game would I believe send the message to TH/PR, either GW goes or we stay away , a gate of 4,000 or less would surely get the message across.

Incorrect - I will be fucked if I will stop watching a club I have watched for 45 years because of a clueless imposter at the helm...one way or another he will be gone soon enough.

So the huge majority of fans are sheep eh...fucking pathetic

What do you propose then Budgierustler if not staying away? Wouldn't missing one match be worth it if it increased the likelihood of Westley being shown the door? I don't think Ridsdale or Hemmings will listen until either any protests are aimed at them or a boycott really bites. Whatever the reason for continuing to attend, it effectively endorses the current regime if ultimately you will renew your season ticket and attend no matter what pitiful excuse for football and entertainment is served up. The fans have a great opportunity here to show that enough is enough.

As a point of comparison, Port Vale are now top of League 2 - twelve months after a boycott of Vale Park forced their old board out. Do you think that change and subsequent success would have happened if all their fans had continued to pay their money to the old board, despite the club going from the top of League 1 to the bottom half of League 2 under their stewardship? Staying away is the ultimate sacrifice but if it brings about the change we all want, isn't a price worth paying (for one match at least)?

Although i agree it his time for him to go and some form of action needs to be taken... Try keeping me away from Deepdale on match day, I would be stil be sat there at Deepdale if we were 20-0 down within this first half, This is the same for many others, Time for a rethink 😛

anything from PSG ?

In discussions at the moment and taking a bit of time to reflect on what needs to be said/done.We have a diverse membership and we have to make sure we speak for the majority of our members.

We have been trying to get Peter Ridsdale to speak to the supporters or open dialogue with us for weeks. Sadly for various reasons he has declined/ignored our offer.

From a personal view I think its clear what needs to be done and Westley needs to go, however as some others have stated any action needs to be thought out and make sure that it makes a difference.

Hopefully it won't come to anything as the owner will depose of the manager in the next 24 hours.

I saw us when we finished 91st so I have seen much worse than this....oh and by the way purchasing a season ticket endorses Preston North End not some fucking imposter currently posing as manager.

Please think your posts through and stop trying to justify your non attendance. If you dont want to come fine...thats your business.....so keep your fucking nose out of mine.

OK ?

You obviously weren't around on pink leaflet night....

Goodness, yes, pink leaflet night. If I remember the Evening Post went mad for it and tried to take photos of a fiercely disgruntled crowd. All 4000 of us.

Still it went better than the sit-down protest in Lowthorpe Road. I got a bad dose of Nobby Stiles after sitting on that cold road.

Mind you, at least Malcolm Woodhouse had the decency back then to come on down to talk to the protesting fans and explained what was going on behind the scenes.

I actually think we are on a par with the crap we watched then !

Correct, the only way forward is a blanket boycott - unfortunately I fear that there are too many sheep amongst the PNE faithful to make this course of action effective.

I'm not so sure...I've always been one of them sheep but I want my club back. A mass boycott of one game would really be affective.

So what course of action is the non-chairman likely to take based on that goal?

If TH was on Risdales back he would soon react. Under 4000 on the next home match that's what we need, no demonstrations or marching just don't turn up. We also do not want TH to think we are trying to dictate. We are just letting the club know how we feel

My own personal opinion is that as well as targeting Westley, we (North End fans in general) also need to be targeting the likes of Ridsdale and Hemmings, especially since there's a clear lack of leadership and the club being very poorly run.
